I recently sang in the Broadway Concert "Voices of Distinction" at the FESTIVAL of the VOICE, or "VoiceFest" in Phoenicia, NY.  This adorable town is neighbor with the ever famous 'Woodstock' (like the one where they hold the concerts...Yes, THAT ONE).  In its 3rd year, Louis Otey, Maria Todaro and Kerry Henderson have developed a beautiful festival that celebrates "the Voice" in many capacities.  It's Purpose: To promote the human voice as an instrument of peace, healing and artistic expression, through presenting world class performances of  opera, song, world music, baroque, new vocal music and choral music  in Phoenicia, New York and surrounding areas.  This year, they included Musical Theatre.

I joined Juliette and Stephen Trafton and Emily Drenner for the The "Voices of Distinction" concert, and we had a MARVELOUS evening!  Thank you Phoenicia!!  I hope to return in the future. =)
